A huge thank you to everyone who came to any of our recent recitals in Ripon, Manchester and Carlisle. We have received really positive feedback from all concerts and can announce that we have been invited to return to Carlisle by North Cumbria Recitals in 2012. A review of the Carlisle concert will follow shortly.

Happy New Year! Souza Winds have now begun a residency at Forest School in Knaresborough. This will see us working with 15 students in weekly sessions, culminating in a performance of their brand new performing arts creation. In association with Live Music Now Yorkshire and NYMAZ.
We have recently been awarded the inaugural June Emerson Wind Music Launchpad Prize. We would like to thank the Royal Northern College of Music for recommending us for this award and thank all at June Emerson for all of their assistance.
